Aiden's 1st Birthday Party 10/10

Aiden turned ONE on October 8th! We had his birthday party at his Aunt Jenny's house with all the people that love him. We all had a lot of fun and I was still tired the next day. All the kids loves all the balloons and everyone was happy and so well behaved.

New Toy

Even though Aiden's Birthday is not until October 8th I had to get him an early Birthday present. Since he is always climbing under the desk and thinks it's great when we make forts out of blankets I though these tents would be great for him. At first he only played with the box it came in, of course, but now he loves it.

Even Alfie likes it and Aiden has a blast chasing him in and out.

Family Day out.

Today Aiden, Dwaine and I met up with the Commale family at the Trappe family community day. Both Aiden and Logan had their first pony ride!

Labor Day Picnic

Sunday, September 6, 2009 we had a family picnic at Jenny's house. We all had a good time. Aiden loves Pop-pop and playing with his cousins. This was his best swim in the pool yet. He had so much fun! Then at the end of the day he enjoyed a good cupcake.

Even though Aiden was a big Momma's boy this day we had a good time! He got to play a little piano and the "Big" piano.

The boys are starting to play with each other. Aiden still crawls over Logan but as soon as he starts to move I think they'll have more fun together.

Aiden's 1st Haircut!

July 25th, 2009

4th of July

Dwaine and I took Aiden to Memorial Park in Pottstown to see the events going on there. We spent some time there walking around looking at cars and watched some of the little league games. Then we went back home for a nap.





After we had some rest we went back to the park for Aiden's first fireworks! We got there about an hour before they started and spent that hour chasing Aiden around. Of course he didn't just sit on the blanket, he kept crawling all over. He even started taking off when ever this tween aged girl ran by with her purple glow necklace! Once the fireworks started Aiden sat pretty still and wasn't scared until the really loud grand finale. He was just a good boy and we all had a really good day.

Sunday Aiden decided to pull on my TV tray and knock over my dinner. He ended up wearing chicken and peppers on his head.

Kutztown Folk Festival

Saturday Aiden and I went to the Kutztown Folk Festival with Grandmom, Sarah and Ian. It was the first time for all of us. It was a lot of fun. Aiden didn't have much of a nap before we got there but he was really good anyway. We all shared our food with him to make him happy. He even tasted my ox sandwich! There were baby animals for feed and pet: goats, llamas, a cow, pigs, ducks, and bunnies. Here is a picture of Sarah helping Aiden pet the baby cow. He reached right now for him!

There were lots of stalls with things to buy. We saw beautiful quilts and tasted free samples of fudge, jams and dips. Even Aiden tasted some things. The only thing that was weird was the hanging reenactment. The story was horrible but little man was down for a well needed nap so he didn't see it.

While Aiden was napping we had our long awaited apple dumplings and they were good! Aiden woke up just as we finished and decided to eat Ians lemon. We had a fun day and look forward to more summer festivals.

Swimming, soccer and more

Yesturday I gave in to Aiden and let him have a big boy breakfast and feed himself. The past two days he's didn't want his oatmeal so I gave him bananas and bread. He had fun and made a little mess. When he was done most of the bread was gone and the bananas were mushed into two piles.

After a fun breakfast I got Aiden ready to go for his first swim at Aunt Jenny's. Even though he was a little grumpy from teething he liked the pool. I put him in his little starfish float and he was a little too wild for it (leaning over to splash in the water) and wanted to be held. He had fun splashing Simone and Marky.

Then Aiden went to his first soccer game! (Daddy was happy about that) We watched Marky play. I don't think Aiden really watched any of the game but we had fun and Aiden ate some grass of course.

Aiden has been very busy lately. He has 4 teeth, crawls all over the place and pulls up on everything to stand up. He keeps me busy everyday.

Every Monday Aiden goes to Romp N Roll for the Tumble Tunes class. They play intruments (baby ones) to music and have free play time in the gym. Aiden loves it! He crawls around the circle during music time and tries to steal other babies toys durning play time. He's a busy boy and it's something fun to do with him each week. The only problem is the class is at 11:30am and his nap time is 11am. So, I never know how he is going to be for class but he has been really good so far and doesn't seem to mind moving his nap for some fun.

I better finish up because he should be waking up from his late nap soon. There will be more to come as soon as I get this blog set up.
